Biography

She has studied at the University of the Arts Hamburg, Chelsea College and Goldsmiths College. Anne has worked as a textile designer and trend consultant for international clients such as Kinnasand, Tom Tailor, Beckford Interiors, Kjaer Global, Faith Shoes, Ikea, Sony, Toyota, Dulux and Urban Outfitters. Anne's work has been featured in ‘View on Textiles', Drapers Record, Elle Decoration, Independent on Sunday, L'UOMO Vogue and others.

Research Statement

Anne is particularly interested in contemporary pattern language and the socio-cultural context of textiles. Her research is informed by her career as a trend forecaster, visualizing future design scenarios. In her latest research project Anne has juxtaposed 19th century interiors with 21st century ornamentation to accentuate their mutual reflection of domestic aspirations.

Her work features a mix of traditional and progressive techniques, such as laser cutting, silkscreen printing, flocking, digital printing as well computer-aided designs. Recent exhibitions include:
