Caterina Radvan

Caterina Radvan is a knitwear designer, PhD (part-time) research student and Senior Lecturer at London College of Fashion.
Caterina's practice-based PhD research focuses on design development through consideration of the needs of the end-user and the exploitation of the capabilities of advanced industrial seamless knitting technology to design fashionable knitwear for a wider section of the market than is catered for at present.
Caterina's research has followed an inclusive design methodology where the needs of severely disabled women (extreme users) are established in order to inform the design of a knitwear collection produced using Stoll WholegarmentR knitting technology.
